Broadway’s Hamilton Cancels Shows due to Covid offering refunds to disappointed fans.

Hamilton took to Twitter earlier this week to share the disappointing news. Unfortunately, due to breakthrough cases the remainder of this week’s performances of Hamilton have been canceled.

News of the cancellation is definitely disappointing to fans. As this is one of many shows on Broadway that are canceling performances.
Hamilton on Broadway apologized for the disappointment and inconvenience, but noted the precautions were for the safety of the cast, crew, and patrons.

The sudden increase in breakthrough COVID cases is being attributed to the omicron variant.
In the past few days a total of 10 Broadway shows (there are 32 currently running) have been impacted with cancellations and closings.

Hamilton is unfortunately not the only show impacted with the recent surge of COVID cases. Aladdin also just announced cancellations through Christmas!

Catch Hamilton on Disney+
Disappointed fans do have another option to catch this iconic musical. Hamilton is available on Disney+. The filmed version of the musical is 2 hours and 40 minutes capturing the best of film, stage, and streaming.
This multi-award winning production combines singing, dance, hip hop, jazz and more telling the astounding and revolutionary story of Alexander Hamilton. The full production is not available on Disney+.
