Our Favorite Christmas Week Treats at Disney Springs
‘Twas the week before Christmas and all through the Springs, Cast Members created new treats and sweet things! If you’re a vacationer looking to dive into the Christmas spirit or a local who’s blocked out of the Parks, Disney Springs is the most underrated Christmas destination on Disney Property that you’ve got to check out.
With so many of the restaurants (both quick and table service) incorporating Holiday-inspired menu items into their offerings, it’s easy to overlook the kiosks and shops…but don’t! They’re offering some of the cutest and tastiest treats at Disney Springs this week, and you don’t want to miss out!
Marketplace Snacks
Over in the Marketplace, we’re featuring two of our favorite Christmas week stops! Marketplace snacks is serving up a Christmas time take on the famous ice cream nacho dish they originally created using Dole Whip.
With red velvet waffle cone pieces stacked with ice cream, chocolate sauce, a minty surprise, and more whipped cream than even Santa can handle, you cannot miss this super tasty, SUPER shareable treat!
Dockside Margarita
Before we leave the Marketplace, we can’t forget about the cutest drink in town! This little snowman margarita is almost too cute to drink-almost! Christmas time is all about indulging in delicious treats and enjoying libations with family and friends, and this margarita checks every one of those boxes.
This drink promises a coconut-forward flavor with dashes of cinnamon-y graham cracker and chocolate pearls, and it requires NO table service reservations!
TIP: Take your marg to the back patio for views of the Disney Springs watercraft bustling by!
The Ganachery
If you’ve seen the Frosen movies, you’ll know that Olaf can easily shape shift into any size or object on a whim. This season, he’s taking the form of a hot cocoa bomb that you can take home with you!
To make the cocoa bomb, the Ganachery’s famous chocolate is molded in Olaf’s likeness. Then, it’s stuffed with a sugary surprise that’s waiting for you to discover. Just pop him into some hot milk and watch him melt into the perfect pot of hot cocoa for the whole family!
If the adults want a little oomph with their cocoa, opt for this Bailey’s-infused ganache. Trust me, it really does help make the Holidays merrier.
Vivoli Il Gelato
I don’t need convincing to indulge in anything from Vivoli any time of the year, but I’m somehow even more tempted when Christmastime rolls around. Luckily for us, they’ve debuted holiday-exclusive red velvet-filled cannoli that are as festive as they are tasty.
A hand-formed shell is lightly fried and filled with sweet red velvet cannoli cream and is finished with a dusting of chocolate shavings. Talk about the perfect treat for Christmas!
