New Disney FiGPiNs Feature Iconic Characters
MickeyBlogger Kristen is strolling around Disney’s Animal Kingdom. When she popped into Riverside Depot, she found these new Disney FiGPiNs that feature iconic characters. Here are Mickey, Pegleg Pete, and Hatbox Ghost!
The Characters
Did you know that there are various types of Disney characters? It’s true, there are famous film characters and iconic park characters. These pins represent both.
First, let’s look at our favorite main mouse, Mickey! It is one of his earliest forms, hence, he is in black and white. Mickey has a huge smile on his face!
Next up is Pegleg Pete! As you can see, one foot is replaced by a peg as he glares at (probably) Mickey Mouse. His angry expression encompasses his upset demeanor.
Pegleg Pete wears his iconic outfit. He has on jean overalls with a broken strap, as well as his conductor hat and gloves. Notice that he is in black and white too.
Pegleg Pete gradually transformed over the years to just Pete. However, in either form, he is the most notable Mickey Mouse villain in Disney history, that scoundrel!
A Happy Haunt
Well, I reckon that Walt Disney World’s Haunted Mansion will obtain their one-thousandth happy haunt once Hatbox Ghost joins the crew! Many Guests are excited to see him!
Hatbox Ghost is considered to be an iconic park character because you see him in the Haunted Mansion. Therefore, with his popularity, it is very fitting to have a FiGPiN in his honor.
FiGPiNs are collectible enamel pins that use high-quality material to create fantastic, durable pins. They have a variety of licensed products, including Disney and Marvel, of course.
