Enchantment Dessert Party Review
Disney’s Enchantment is Magic Kingdom’s brand-new show that premiered for the 50th anniversary celebration. Disney has brought back dessert parties for the 50th anniversary celebration to give guests a better opportunity to view the show and enjoy desserts at the same time.
I last attended a dessert party in 2018 for Happily Ever After and wanted to experience Enchantment in the same environment. This was the first time I had experienced Disney’s new Enchantment. I attended the dessert pre-party with Plaza Garden Viewing on Thanksgiving week. Continue reading for the review of the event.
Disney has several different types of dessert parties to choose from. Two of the parties provide standing only space in the Plaza Garden viewing area and the third provides a seated view area.
Types of Parties
The first party offers desserts before the fireworks called the Enchantment Pre-Party. The After Party offers standing only views and desserts after the fireworks. Both of these parties cost $99 for ages 10 and up and $59 for guests 3-9. Guests under age 3 are free.
The final option “Treats and Seats” offers a seated viewing area in Tomorrowland Terrace. Guests enjoy the same dessert party but have a seated area to watch the fireworks. This option cost $114 for guests 10 and up and $69 for guests 3-9. Guests under 3 are free.
What is Included
All the dessert parties include the same food and drinks. The party is located in Tomorrowland Terrace. Once it is your time to check in you will visit a podium to obtain a wrist band and check in. A cast member will bring you and your party to a seat. Once seated you are free to visit the buffet as many times as you please.
The parties share the same buffet at Tomorrowland Terrace. The buffet is filled with cheeses, chocolate dipped strawberries, butterscotch pudding, fruit, crackers, donuts, and 50th anniversary themed desserts.
Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade, Passion Fruit Guava Juice, tea, water, and milk were available for all guests. Coffee was also available. Guest 21 and over could enjoy beer and wine.
I would advise to arrive as soon as your window opens so you have time to enjoy the desserts. You do not want to feel rushed in enjoying the desserts and drinks.
Fireworks Viewing
Once guests are finished enjoying the desserts, a cast member escorts you to the private fireworks viewing area. The cast member will also confirm your wristband prior to entry.
Make sure that you get there early or some of the better viewing spots will be filled with guests. We waited to find our spot and had a tree and light post blocking some of our view of the fireworks.
Overall, we had a great experience at the dessert party. It was nice to not have to worry about finding a spot near the castle hours before the show and still enjoy a prime view.
Another bonus is after the party you can stay in the viewing area while the crowds clear and enjoy the projections. We were able to see some holiday projections during our dessert party which was beautiful.
