Out of this World Experience at Space 220
Space 220 is a brand new restaurant in Epcot that opened in September 2021. Space 220 is an out of this world experience that feels like more of a dinner show than a meal.
Space 220 is the hardest advanced dining reservation to get on Walt Disney World property. Dining reservations can be made 60 days in advance starting at 6 am Eastern time.
Advanced reservations are not only recommended they are essentially required due to the popularity.
Space 220 is open for lunch and dinner. The restaurant also has a walk up lounge. Space 220 serves a prix fixe menu for both lunch and dinner.
Lunch is $55 per adult and includes an appetizer and entrée. Dinner is $79 a person and features an appetizer, entrée, and dessert.
Kids meals are $29 a person (ages 3-9) and include an entrée, dessert, and drink. Children also receive special Space 220 collectible trading cards.
Space 220 does offer discounts for Disney Vacation Club Members and Annual Passholders. DVC members receive 15% off while Passholders receive 10%.
Appetizers include salads, calamari, burrata, and fried cauliflower. The presentation for each menu item is unique.
Adults entrees include short rib, duck, chicken, vegetable lasagna, salmon, and filet mignon. Each entrée is accompanied by a side items.
Desserts include carrot cake, toffee pudding cake, chocolate cheesecake, gelato, and lemon mousse.
Guests can also enjoy galactic specialty alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks.
The atmosphere is what Space 220 thrives on. When you first check into the restaurant you are given a boarding pass ticket for your space journey.
Once you have your ticket you are taken on the special elevator to space. The elevator gives guests a birds eye view of your journey from Epcot in Florida to the Centauri Space Station. The elevator ride feels like an attraction in and of itself.
Upon your arrival to the Space Station you are greeted by fantastic views of space and earth. Throughout your dinner you will see spaceships, astronauts, space dogs, and even lightsaber fighting astronauts.
During the evening hours, the space screen changes from a daytime to nighttime view of earth. You will notice that different parts of the world will change to nighttime before others.
Space 220 is a must do for your next trip to Walt Disney World. It is truly a once in a lifetime experience.
