Holiday Decor is Up at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you go at Walt Disney World! This evening we’re at Disney’s Contemporary Resort where the holiday decorations are starting to go up!
We popped into Fantasia gift shop first where you can see greenery, gold ribbons and baubles galore!
The shelves are also stocked with toys perfect for holiday gift giving.
As you walk through the property you’ll notice lots of trees and wreaths.
All of the holiday décor in the Contemporary tends to have a Mid-Century Modern feel in keeping with the overall vibe of this monorail resort.
Here’s another look at the Christmas displays.
You’ll find a couple of awesome gift shops in the main atrium tower that are definitely worth checking out!
One of our favorite is BVG where Greg and Elyssa always manage to find something new and interesting!
Adorning the retail displays are also retro gift wrapped boxes.
I love the wreath below decorated in hues of copper, gold, green and blue.
This colorway can be found consistently throughout the property.
Below you can see the same style and colors in the long green garlands that hang from the ceilings throughout the Contemporary.
Here’s a shot of how this look ties everything together at the Main Desk.
We really love the way the pops of blue add an extra dimension of color to the lobby.
Below is a look at one of the many trees you’ll find throughout the property.
And its magical from the moment you arrive with garlands draped throughout the porte cochere.
Its been so wonderful to watch this magical transformation!
Below is a closer look at the decorations. I particularly like the lighter colored poinsettias.
