Themes for the 2022 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend at Walt Disney World Resort have been Announced
Celebrate Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary during the inaugural runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend! Run down familiar courses inspired by fan-favorite races, including Expedition Everest 5K, Race for the Taste 10K and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ 10-Miler—with some added twists and turns. The runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend runs from March 31s- April 3rd.

The inaugural Springtime Surprise Weekend will feature:

Expedition Everest 5K (April 1, 2022) – The race will once again feature a nighttime 5K combined with a scavenger hunt, but this time the hunt will be conducted during the 5K.
- Club runDisney Gold and Platinum Registration: December 7, 2021 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time
- General Registration: December 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time
Registration fee varies based on the date of purchase:
- December 9, 2021 – February 28, 2022: $100
- March 1 – March 23, 2022: $110

Race for the Taste 10K (April 2, 2022) – The event will mirror the 10K from the past, but now the race will celebrate the newest attraction at Walt Disney World Resort, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT.
- Club runDisney Gold & Platinum Registration: December 7, 2021 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time
- General Registration: December 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time

- December 9, 2021 – February 28, 2022: $135

The Tower of Terror 10-Miler (April 3, 2022) – The race will still be a 10-miler, but will be run in the morning instead of at night.

- General Registration: December 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time

Put your endurance on display to achieve the greatest reward of the first-of-its-kind 2022 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend as you take on all 3 running events: the 5K, 10K and 10-Miler—for a total of 19.3 magical miles! Participants will need to register for the runDisney Springtime Surprise Challenge, which includes all 3 races, in order to receive the inaugural runDisney Springtime Surprise Challenge medal.
