Disney+ Releases New Promo Celebrating 2 Years of the Streaming Network
In 10 days, Disney+, Disney’s official streaming network will be officially celebrating their 2nd Anniversary with a “Disney+ Day” celebration. They’ll be a whole host of awesome programming, premieres and more. Disney is also extending the celebration to the theme parks where there will be special photo ops and online with shopDisney exclusive merch.
Ahead of the anniversary, Disney+ has just released a trailer that celebrates the highlights of the last 24 months. Take a look here:
The caption for the video reads, “Two years of wonder. Two years of memories. Two years together—and we’re just getting started.”
So what can guests expect on Disney+ day? They’ll be new content from Disney and affiliates including: Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel and National Geographic. Highlights include the following.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
Didn’t get to see it in the theaters!? November 12th marks the official premiere of the groundbreaking Marvel film on the streaming network.
Jungle Cruise
Get ready to head down the river with this live-action film starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt. The film draws it’s inspiration from the beloved theme park attraction. Disney+ Day marks the first day that is is appearing as part of your streaming subscription.

Home Sweet Home Alone
Premiering on November 12th is the latest instalment in the Home Alone Franchise. Home Sweet Home Alone the protagonist Max is left home during a family trip to Japan gone wrong. Played by Archie Yates, Max must defend his home while the family is away. Oh, and we couldn’t possibly move on without mentioning that Macauley Culkin himself has a cameon in the film!
Olaf Presents
Our favorite loveable snowman is back. Olaf Presents will see our favorite pal from Frozen chronicle other Disney classics! Voice actor Josh Gad will be returning to give us quick takes on Disney’s beloved classic films as well as recent releases.
Incredible Short Films
Fall in love with Disney and Pixar’s wide array of short films all over again! Disney will be bringing some popular shorts to the streaming network including Frozen Forever, Feasts, Paperman, Get a Horse! and more!
Ciao Alberto
Missing our friends from Luca!? Then you won’t want to miss Ciao Alberto a brand new Pixar short. The blurb for the short is as follows: “Life in Portorosso” has been a catch for Alberto. Since Luca has been away, Alberto is making waves to impress his mentor Massimo!”
The World According to Jeff Goldblum
If Jeff Goldblum wants to dispense with some knowledge than I am here for it! In the series Jeff will serve as our inquisitive guide uncovering surprise secrets from an eclectic array of topics including magic, fireworks, monsters, dogs, dance and more! The first 5 episodes of this Nat Geo series will premiere on November 12th.
