Marvel Set to Have a Record 7 Films Release in 2023
With Eternals just on the horizon for most MCU fans and Spider-Man: No Way Home wrapping up an eventful 2021 Theatrical slate that included some of the studio’s most ambitious works; we now know that Marvel is set to have a record 7 films released in 2023!
Following the 2020, COVID-19 pandemic, many Marvel fans were stuck without the enormously intriguing Phase Four slate that was delayed continuously.
It was 2021 that saw the release of the Marvel espionage thriller Black Widow, and the eastern-inspired martial arts masterpiece that was Shang-Chi.
With Eternals looking to be a beautifully designed study on humanity, and Spider-Man: No Way Home rating as the culmination of Marvel Multiversal mayhem, it seems like we are just experiencing the beginning of the MCU’s next iteration.
This will reach a fever pitch, however, in the coming years as Marvel Studios and Sony are set to give the world as much Marvel as they can handle.
We have recently found out that Marvel is set to have a record 7 films debut in 2023!
Despite the recent changes that occurred to the distribution schedule for many of Marvel’s previously announced films, it appears as though the two companies will be giving fans more than enough to make up for it.
Marvel will begin 2023 by releasing the sequel to Captain Marvel in The Marvels, the James Gunn helmed Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumanium which will feature the debut of the highly anticipated Kang and an untitled project for November.
Sony, on the other hand, adds to the massive 7 film slate with Venom 3, and a Kraven the Hunter solo film all planned to debut in January.
