Get a Glimpse of How Disney Theme Parks are Celebrating Halloween Around the World
The spooky season is in full swing and I can’t think of a better place to celebrate Halloween then with a visit to a Disney theme park.
Disney parks around the globe are getting out their devilishly delightful décor and cooking up tasty treats to celebrate the spooky season. There’s so much to see, do and explore during a Halloween theme park visit whether you’re going character spotty, trying out some tasty treats, or going on one of Disney’s spookier attractions.
Let’s take a closer;
Disneyland Paris
Let’s start our tour at Disneyland Paris. Their Halloween Festival kicked off on October 1st and runs through November 7th.
You’ll also want to pop over to the Studio Theater at Walt Disney Studios Park where we’ve heard a rumor that some Villains are up to no good!
Have those cameras at the read to grab photos with Captain Hook, Cruella and more! Of course, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and the rest of the gang will be there in their Halloween best.
Also, the Disneyland Paris chefs have been hard at work conjuring up some delicious eats and at the stroke of midnight on Halloween, Disney’s Halloween Party will be celebrating with an evening full of fun, Halloween treats and sneaky surprises.
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort
Iconic Disney villains and beloved friends are out and about at Hong Kong Disneyland and are sporting brand-new Halloween costumes. Festivities run through until October 31st. Guests are even invited to join the fun by dressing up in your own Halloween outfits.
Also at Hong Kong Disneyland is the Mickey’s Halloween time Street Party. This awesome offering includes giant jack-o’-lanterns, favorite seasonal tunes and so much more. You’ll also want to check out the “Let’s Get Wicked’ stage show which is back mesmerizing guests for another fun-filled year.
Pop over to Fantasyland where you’ll find magical trick-or-treating at the Halloween Time Festival Gardens. In Adventureland Disney Villains have also created a Wicked Fun Party Zone. Also, be on the lookout for the mischievous Loki who we heard can’t resist a good party!
We couldn’t possibly leave our Halloween tour of Hong Kong Disneyland without first talking about some of the food and beverage options. Highlights include Maleficent Soft Serve (at Midtown Delights), the Halloween Snack Platter and the Queen’s Brew (at Tahitian Terrace.)
Shanghai Disney Resort
Now let’s pay a visit to Shanghai Disney Resort. Disney’s park in China is currently celebrating the season with a range of new and traditional Halloween celebrations. Festivities kicked off on October 4th and will run through until November 7th.
You’ll definitely want to head over to the Enchanted Storybook Castle where after sunset, Disney Villains will be making appearances on the balcony. Another must-visit spot is Treasure Cove which once again has been magically transformed into the home of Ghost Pirates.
Visitors can also experience “This is Halloween” Dance Party which also boasts themed food and beverage options, entertainment characters and more. We also recommend a visit to Disneytown where a Halloween Fun Carnival is happening. There’s character-inspired pumpkin decor, Ghost Band, special parades, parties and more.
Tokyo Disney Resort
Tokyo Disney Resort is marking the season with “Mickey & Friends Greet Parade: Disney Halloween.,” now through October 31st. Mickey Mouse and the resto of the gang will be showing off their Halloween finery while welcoming guests. Festivities also include special food and drink offerings and so much more.
This year, you’ll even find special Halloween merchandise unique to Halloween this includes items features characters through Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas and for new pieces inspired by the ghost bride at the Haunted Mansion.
From October 25 – October 29th, the resort will even be offering a Halloween Morning Passport for guests to enjoy the festivities before Tokyo Disneyland opens for the day!
