On December 18th, MCO is projecting to see156,925 travelers with January 1st coming in a close second at 153,048 travelers. That’s no surprise with the lifting of the Covid restrictions, more people being vaccinated, and people finally wanting to travel again. So if you are traveling this holiday season, pack your patience!
One way to help alleviate some travel time in the Orlando International Airport is to reserve your time slot to pass through security. The new program is referred to as Reservation Lane and is available to all traveling guests.
This allows passengers, families, or solo travelers, to arrive at a specific time, scan their reservation, and enter through a shorter, exclusive line. This will be available at both security checkpoints at the Orlando International Airport.
