Sign Removed from Philharmagic Amid Refurbishment
Last week, we shared the news with our readers that Mickey’s Philharmagic, a popular Magic Kingdom attraction had closed for refurbishment.
The reason is that a new scene is going to be added to the 3D feature that includes magical moments from Pixar’s Coco.
We knew that the attraction would be closed to the public while the update to the show was made.
However, we never expected them to take down the neon Philharmagic sign.
But, that is precisely what happened!
During our visit to the Magic Kingdom today we were shocked to see that all of the lettering had been removed from the sign.
It looks very strange to see everything boarded up and dismantled.
The removal of the lettering includes both sides of the marquee as well.
Could Philharmagic be getting a new sign or maybe even a name change!?
This is a story that we will continue to follow closely.
We promise to let you know as soon as we’ve heard anything about Philharmagic!
