It’s a Small World Gets More Permanent Lightning Lane Signage
If you were following along with MickeyBlog last week, you’ll know that “it’s a small world” had Lightning Lane signage but then it was taken down.
The pink valence that you see above was completely removed at the entrance of the attraction. Here’s a look:
However, today we are strolling around Fantasyland and noticed that the sign has returned.
So what was the reason for the arrival then removal of the sign?
When we looked at the Lightning Lane sign before the removal we noticed that someone had just placed a lightning land sticker on the pink canopy.
To be honest, it didn’t look great and we noticed this at a few other attractions including Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion.
We suspect that these were just placeholders and that Disney World has come up with more permanent solutions.
The signage now looks like it was custom printed!
For those following along you’ll know that Disney’s new Genie+ service launches tomorrow and that the theme parks will start using Lightning Lanes instead of the previous FastPass system.
Our MickeyBloggers will be at the theme parks to test out this new way of doing things and we promise to keep you posted!
