Disney Springs Celebrates 50 Years of Disney World With These Awesome Treats
Over the past few weeks, we’ve spent a lot of time sharing with you all of the 50th Anniversary eats and treats coming to the Disney theme parks. But let’s now overlook the fact that Disney Springs is having a 50th Anniversary celebration of it’s own and it’s mostly culinary!
Head over to Disney World’s downtown shopping district this October and be sure to try out some of these delectable limited-edition treats!
Amorette’s Patisserie- 50th Anniversary Petite Cake
This beloved Disney Springs Patisserie has done it again. You can enjoy the decadent taste of Disney’s 50th Anniversary with this vanilla chiffon peitit cake with blueberry jam, celebration blue mousse and lemon curd.
The BOATHOUSE®- Sweet Nostalgia Pineapple Upside Down Cake
Enjoy a warm, classic pineapple upside down cake right out of the over. Garnished with blue and purple swirled whipped cream, this tasty treat is served with gold-dusted white chocolate square. The cake is decorated with shiny sprinkles representing Disney World’s 50th Anniversary color story of blue, gold and purple. The whole thing is topped off with a cherry!
City Works Eatery & Pour House- Brownie Sundae
Head over to Disney’s West Side for this chocolate brownie served with vanilla bean ice cream, chocolate, caramel and whipped cream. This goodie is then garnished with gold flakes and a maraschino cherry.
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’- Lemon Poppyseed Shine Cake
Chef Art Smith has whipped up a new spin on of his classic signature cakes. This delectable treat combines the light nutty flavor of poppyseeds with fresh notes of citrus.
For adults-only this yellow butter cake is soaked in moonshine syrup and served with jewel-toned fresh blueberry fruit compote, fresh lemon zest, a sprig of mint, whipped cream and a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
The Edison- Dulce de Leche Cheesecake
Satisfy your sweet tooth by biting into this cheesecake served with dulce de leche caramel, whipped cream and caramel pearls.
Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC- The 1971
Head over to Erin McKenna’s to celebrate with this vegan dessert. This vanilla cupcake comes with gluten-free frosting, is dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free and is kosher.
Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew – Now Open!- Nifty Fifty
Everglazed is whipping up special 50th Anniversary donuts adorned with pale pink or lavender vanilla cream icing. The pink iced donut is topped with pink, blue, orange and white sugar sparkles just like Magic Kingdom’s new Enchanted fireworks display. The lavender iced donut is topped with blue, pink and purple jewel tones!
Both donuts are topped with buttercream frosting and are topped with an edible disk that says, “50 Sweet!”

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World with a pigñata.
