Sneak Peek Into 50th Anniversary News Media Room
With all the excitement going on, there are tons of news coverage for Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary. Well, MickeyBlog has a sneak peek into the news media room for the 50th anniversary!
The Entrance
So, you might be wondering, “What is a news media center?” Basically, it is an area where the media writes their stories for an event.
In this case, the event is Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary…The World’s Most Magical Celebration! As you can see, the entrance is a long, blue walkway that features the 50th-anniversary symbol and Harmonious. (Harmonious is featured because this particular location is in EPCOT.)
Next, you come upon the entrance doors. The doors display the icons from Walt Disney World’s four theme parks: the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Before entering the media center, MickeyBloggers Greg and Elyssa pose in front of the Harmonious backdrop. As you can see, it makes for a great picture!
Additional Backdrops
Then, as you enter the media center, you find more backdrops. Once again, the additional backdrops feature the icons from each of the four theme parks.
Of course, the icons’ backdrops include them donned with their Beacons of Magic for the 50th anniversary. Here, you can see the beautiful Cinderella Castle.

Spaceship Earth is another lovely backdrop, as well. We are so excited for its Beacons of Magic to glow and glisten on October 1, 2021!
Next, we have the Tower of Terror. Notice that every backdrop includes the Walt Disney World logo, as well as the 50th-anniversary symbol.
Finally, the Tree of Life is featured as the last backdrop. These gorgeous media enhancements are a great addition to any interview!
The News Media Room
The news media room, itself, appears to be massive! Here, you can see tables and laptops set up all throughout the room, so the media personnel has an appropriate area to work.
Accordingly, the room has beautiful decorations to celebrate this wonderful occasion. Gorgeous chandeliers hang around the room, and the 50th-anniversary logo shimmers perfectly.
