Let’s Go Inside and Check Out the Decor at Main Street Confectionary
Look what finally opened today Disney friends!
That’s right, MickeyBlog is at the Magic Kingdom this afternoon where we were delighted to see that the doors to the Main Street Confectionary are officially open!
It was a delightful sight to see those doors shop doors open once and again! The smells coming from the shop were also simply delightful.
The shop now has a brand-new sign that is giving us definitely Candyland vibes and freshly painted shop windows!
Be sure to take time to check out the window display. this one features vintage boxes of Mars treats!
We love the vintage stove and counter tops!
Another shop window at the Confectionary is done up in a Mad Tea Party theme.
As you can see, the windows now read “The Home of Mars Candy Treats.”
This shop window features some old fashioned candy treats along with some familiar pre-packaged Minnie treats!
On display are also candy apples and crispy treats!
There’s also a window dedicated to colorful Goofy treats including my favorite- the saltwater taffy.
And just look at those colorful lollipops!
Another window names the popular Mars treats in gold.
There’s also a Sweetest Spoons window. It features caricatures features some of the best home bakers!
This must be a contest that Mars was running.
There images were also featured inside the shop.
Vintage signage as you enter the shop gives you an indication of some of the treats in store!
It was so nice to see this beloved shop come to life and look how happy the cast members are!
Inside, the new show is airy and spacious and the crowds weren’t too bad!
You could see the confectionary masters in action in kitchen!
Items were well stocked for the reopening!
If you’ve been following along with us, you’ll know that the shop has reopened with a new sponsor – Mars.
So, the biggest difference at the shop is that Mars-related products including M&M’s, Skittles and Snickers are heavily featured at the shop!
The offerings are split up into different stations.
Some items needed to be ordered from the counter while others were pre-packaged sweets that you can take to the cashier!
50th Anniversary displays are already in the shop with popcorn, chocolate covered sandwich cookies and more!
Behind the confection station you can see all of the pre-made candy apples.
There is a color wall in the shop where you can make your own mix of Mars treats or have them added to your popcorn, sundaes and more!
Here’s a quick look at the popcorn station.
The decor has been updated throughout the shop. You can see this area features lots of vintage Mars candy signs and tins.
Vintage pictures of the Mars Company founders also hang on the wall.
Here’s a look at some of the pre-packaged boxes of Mars chocolates that you can pick up!
We love the overall aesthetic of the shop!
It’s changed just enough to have that updated feel but with the turn-of-the-century feel we’ve always loved at the Confectionary.
