David Bautista Adopts Abused Puppy!
“Guardians of the Galaxy” star David Bautista is no stranger to helping rescue animals. In 2019, the actor and former wrestler adopted 2 six-year old pit-bulls.
Bautista rescued Maggie and Ally after they were given up by their previous owners.

And just this week, Bautista’s love for animals shines again. Local news outlet and the Humane Society share that David Bautista adopts an abused puppy.

Humane Society of Tampa Florida
The Humane Society of Tampa Bay also shared information on their Instagram page. The post shares an adorable photo of Bautista with the newly adopted Penny! And a photo of Bautista signing adoption papers.

The Humane Society shared that a Good Samaritan immediately stepped in to help after observing the dog eating garbage at a cemetery.
The puppy underwent surgery to remove a metal chain around her neck. In addition, treatment included fixing several skin and nail issues.

$5000 Reward
Bautista saw the reports and offered a $5000 reward on Instagram.
At this time, the individuals responsible for the abuse have not been found. However, the 3-month old puppy was adopted by Bautista and is now recovering in his amazing home.
