Disney World Extends Theme Park Hours For 50th Anniversary
As Disney World readies itself for its 50th Anniversary celebrations which kick off in just a few short weeks (October 1st.) It should come as little surprise that they have decided to extend theme park hours to give guests more time to enjoy the magic!
We’ve got some theme park hour updates to report. Let’s take a look:
As you can see, on October 1st and 2nd, Magic Kingdom will be open from 8am to 10pm. Guests will have the ability to park hop from 2 pm – 10pm. Early Entry for Walt Disney World Resort guests will take place from 7:30 am – 8am.

As you can also see, guests will be able to see the 50th Anniversary fireworks celebration called – Disney Enchantment at 9pm!

Given that this is a resort-wide celebration, Disney has extended the hours as well at the other theme parks. Let’s take a closer look:
EPCOT:
Extended Hours For EPCOT on 10/1 and 10/2 are as follows:
- 9 am – 10pm
- Park Hopper: 2pm – 10pm
- Harmonious: 9:45 pm.
- Early Morning Hours for Walt Disney World Resort Guests: 8:30am – 9am.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Extended Hours for Animal Kingdom are as follows:
- 8 am – 8:30 pm
- Park Hopper: 2pm – 9: 30pm
- Early Morning Hours for Walt Disney World Resort Guests: 7:30am – 8am.

Extended Hours for Hollywood Studios are as follows:
- 9 am – 9 pm
- Park Hopper: 2pm – 9pm
- Early Morning Hours for Walt Disney World Resort Guests: 8:30am – 9am.
