Shanghai Disney Will Be Closed Monday and Tuesday Due to Typhoon
Shanghai Disney along with Disneytown and Wish Star Park will be closed to the general public on Monday and Tuesday.
This is due to the approach of Typhoon Chanthu. The Typhoon is currently passing of Taiwan and is expected to hit mainland China early this week. High winds and flood are expected.
According to a recent article that appeared on Shine. Shanghai Disney is advising people with theme park tickets that they can visit the park on any other day within the next six months!
Those looking to redeem tickets can do so at the theme park entrance turnstiles as long as you have your original ID card or travel document on the day of your visit. Reservations WILL NOT be required.
Those unable to make it to Shanghai Disney within the next six months can get a refund.
Tickets purchased through Shanghai Disney’s website, app, WeChat, via the reservation center or Fliggy and JD Flagship Stores can request your refund through the resort’s official app. The refund will automatically be charged back to your original form of payment. It may take up to 45 working days for your refund to go through!
For tickets purchased through means not mentioned above, please contact the original place you purchased the tickets for refund information.
