Magic Kingdom’s Happily Ever After Canceled Tonight
MickeyBlog confirmed there will be no fireworks in the Magic Kingdom tonight. Unfortunately, Disney canceled Magic Kingdom’s Happily Ever After fireworks.
However, the Happily Ever After show continues this evening. Even though the fireworks will not blast, the music and Cinderella Castle projections will go on!
Disney has canceled the show’s fireworks portion in the past due to lightning. However, Magic Kingdom’s Guest Services say that tonight’s cancellation is because of technical difficulties.

No one explained the extent of the technical difficulties, but Walt Disney World would not cancel their nightly fireworks at the Magic Kingdom without a good reason. Actually, a fire was reported around one of the launch sites during last night’s testing of Disney Enchantment.

Most likely, the fire caused the cancellation of the fireworks portion tonight, but hopefully, Happily Ever After continues to play as normal tomorrow night. Indeed, Cast Members will work diligently to make sure everything is in working order by then.
The Show Must Go On
Guests can thankfully enjoy the music and projections this evening, at least. In fact, the projections are a show all on their own!
Projections displayed on Cinderella Castle visually tell the story of Happily Ever After. They are set to the music in order to inspire and motivate the believer in all of us!

Surely, Happily Ever After will still move Guests to tears as the show encourages them to follow their dreams and take hold of their future. However, we look forward to the fireworks portion returning to Magic Kingdom’s Happily Ever After soon.
