New “Worlds of Pixar” Zone Transforms Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris have just announced a brand-new change coming to the Walt Disney Studios Park, and it’s one that Pixar fans are sure to be excited for!
From August 27th, Disneyland Paris will be renaming an area of the Walt Disney Studios park, reimagining it to be entitled Worlds of Pixar.
Fans who have been following Disneyland Paris updates for some time will know that the Walt Disney Studios Park is currently undergoing a complete transformation, with projects including the upcoming Avengers Campus and other thrilling new ‘lands’ to explore. As shared by ED92, Worlds of Pixar will be one of these four core, themed zones which the park will be divided into, and will encompass all our favorite Pixar attractions and experiences.
To create Worlds of Pixar, a significant portion of the area currently known as Toon Studio will be repositioned. The Pixar-inspired attractions already in Toon Studio are: Crush’s Coaster, Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin, Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop, Ratatouille: The Adventure, RC Racer, Cars Quatre Roues Rallye and, of course, the all-new Cars ROAD TRIP.
Disneyland Paris have also clarified that Flying Carpets over Agrabah, Animagic Theater and Animation Celebration will all remain as part of the Toon Studio area for the time being. They may not be Pixar-related, but we don’t want to see them go just yet!
As well as the epic list of existing Pixar attractions, Disneyland Paris have promised to evolve the magic of Disney/Pixar storytelling in the park by introducing new characters, experiences and treats, based off the Pixar movies we love.
This includes fun, new, Instagrammable walls and decorations, merchandise kiosks, and more.
This new name for the area perfectly laces together all the existing Pixar-inspired attractions which already fill the Walt Disney Studios Park. From the awesome Crush’s Coaster to the delicious Ratatouille: The Adventure, there’s something for every Pixar fan.
