It’s a Small World reopened today after a three-day closure for refurbishments. The clock tower debuted a colorful new look!
Look at this bright new color scheme!
New Color Scheme
The iconic, happy-faced tower now has three panels of festive shades. The front features hues of blue with beautiful glittery accents.
The left side is a pretty combo of pinks and more sparkle.
Around the side we find hues of green!
It certainly makes the loading area feel festive!
Some of the details were repainted as well. Glittery accents have been updated to refresh some of that twinkly Small World magic! Like these bright and shiny numbers and the clock’s face, for example.
A Cast Member told our MickeyBlogger that some additional details were refurbished backstage at the attraction, but wouldn’t be visible to Guests.
History of the Small World Facade
If you recall, the attraction facade was previously white with accents of silver and gold.
That color scheme was introduced when the iconic clock tower was added during renovations in 2005. Prior to that, the whole facade was bright and colorful, similar to what the clock tower is now!
We love that this new scheme blends the clean white lines with colors reminiscent of the original Mary Blair designs from the 1960s.

New indoor mask policies didn’t seem to deter the crowds from flocking back to the classic Disney ride this morning! The Fantasyland ride line grew just as fast as usual, despite the mask requirement in the queue and on the ride.
As they have been all over Walt Disney World, Cast Members were happy to welcome back Guests!
