Character Cavalcades Now Included on My Disney Experience
So we’ve got some exciting news for those visiting Walt Disney World in the weeks ahead. Disney World is always updating the functionality of it’s My Disney Experience App to make your experience as seamless as possible.
Today, during our visit to Walt Disney World we noticed a new update on the app. It may have been around for a wee bit but this is first time we are seeing it.
As you know, many character meet and greets at Disney World are on hiatus at the moment and have been since the parks reopened post-covid. Instead Disney is holding character cavalcades throughout the day. These spontaneous events take place at each of the theme parks and usually involve a mini-procession with a float or two and a handful of much-loved Disney friends.
We noticed during our visit to Disney today that the Princess Promenade and other cavalcade events are NOW listed in My Disney Experience with specific times! This means you can now add the cavalcades that you’re interested in to your plans for the day!
Above you can see a screenshot taken from My Disney Experience that lists out all of the times that guests can expect to see the Princess Promenade at EPCOT.
Above you can see both the Goofy Cavalcade and Magic Kingdom Cavalcade listed in the app!
Hollywood Studios is now publishing times for the Mickey and Friends Motorcade as well as the Pixar and Pals Motorcade.
Last, but not least, moving over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom they even list the times for the adorable character cruises that happen on the waterways. This includes the Discovery River Character Cruise, Donald’s Dino Bash Flotilla, Goofy & Pals Set Sail and the Mickey and Friends Flotilla.
We love this idea as it now means that guests wanting to add a bit of character to your theme parks visits know when and where to find them!
