Overview of all the Holiday Festivities Coming to Disney in 2021
WOW! Disney has just dropped so much exciting holiday news this morning that keeping up can be confusing. But that’s where we come in. Here’s an overview of how the holiday season is shaping up across Disney’s theme parks and beyond!
JUST ANNOUNCED: Holiday Festivities at Walt Disney World Resort
Finally, we get some answers as to whether or not Disney World will be resuming their usual holiday festivities. The answer is YES! with a few post-pandemic changes. Guests visiting Walt Disney World in November and December can expect whimsical decor, seasonal eats and treats, holiday merch and so much more across all four theme parks, resort hotels and Disney Springs.
The festivities officially kick off on November 8th with the start of the FIRST “Disney Very Merriest After Hours” which is a post-pandemic Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This special ticketed event will include “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, Disney characters, holiday music, decor and so much more!

One of my favorite things about the holidays is all of the incredible merchandise that Disney comes out with. 2021 will be no exception! Highlights of this years collection will include all-new Sketchbook Ornaments, holiday-themed headbands, Spirit Jerseys and so much more.
Best of all, the fun isn’t just limited to the parks or shopDisney. Awesome online retailers like BoxLunch and Amazon will be carrying special holiday items inspired by Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas.
CELEBRATE NOW! With Special Offerings at Joffrey’s Coffee
If all the talk of holiday festivities has you pining for Christmas then Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company at Disney Springs has you covered! Starting TODAY through July 18th, you can enjoy some of Joffrey’s holiday specialities!
A treat you’ll want to try is Joffrey’s Peppermint Mocha Latte. This treat is a festive combination of espresso, milk, dark chocolate sauce and peppermint syrup. You can even add a special Halfway to the Holidays themed ripple print.
Holiday Shake at Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes at Downtown Disney
Christmas in July holiday treats aren’t just limited to the east coast. Over at Downtown Disney, Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes is serving up their Peppermint Classic Shake. This treat features peppermint patties, lots of whipped cream, crushed peppermint and chocolate drizzle!
Have A Very Merry Christmas Aboard Disney Cruise Line
Guests sailing on Disney Cruise Line from early November through December are in for a special treat as Disney’s magical fleet of ships undergo a special holiday transformation. Guests on board will find entertainment, holiday decor, your favorite characters dressed in their holiday finery and a special visit from none other than SANTA!

JUST REVEALED: Celebrate 20 Years of Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland Resort
This year we celebrate two spectacular decades of the gingerbread display at Haunted Mansion Holiday! The gingerbread house will be back starting September 3rd. The entire mansion will also be getting a spooktacular makeover as part of Disneyland’s annual Nightmare Before Christmas takeover – Haunted Mansion Holiday.
JUST ANNOUNCED: Disney’s enchanted Christmas at Disneyland Paris
Beginning on November 13th, Disneyland Paris visitors will experience all of the magic of the holiday season with Disney’s Enchanted Christmas. Held at Disneyland Park, thousands of lights will adorn the towering Christmas tree that welcomes guests.
Other highlights include Illuminations on Main Street U.S.A, frosty snowflakes falling from the sky over Main Street U.S.A and your favorite characters from Mickey to Stitch dressed in their holiday attire. Santa will also be on hand to oversee the holiday festivities. This Yuletide celebration will take place through January 9, 2022.

A Halfway to the Holidays TikTok Live Event from Disney’s Blizzard Beach
Disney’s #HalfwaytotheHolidays celebration will culminate in a very special @DisneyParks on TikTok holiday celebration this Wednesday, July 14th at 7:30 p.m. ET .The event will be coming to you LIVE! from Blizzard Beach and viewers will be treated to an exclusive sneak peek of the holiday festivities including entertainment from the Dapper Dans.
