They’re back! In-person runDisney events are back beginning this fall with the 2021 Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. But, right after that will be the flagship runDisney event – the 2022 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend!

The Most Magical Race Weekend for the Most Magical Celebration
The 2022 runDisney Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend will be held from January 5 to January 9, 2022. And, since the 2022 event coincides with Walt Disney World’s 50th “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” be prepared for even more magic with special entertainment while earning the medals.
2022 runDisney Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend Events and Pricing
Regardless of your skill level, there is definitely a race for you! Below are the dates for each event along with pricing:
- Walt Disney World 5K: January 6, 2022 – $95
- Walt Disney World 10K: January 7, 2022 – $135
- Walt Disney World Half Marathon: January 8, 2022 – $195
- Walt Disney World Marathon: January 9, 2022 – $195
- Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge: January 8 – 9, 2022 – $360
- Dopey Challenge: January 6 – 9, 2022 – $600

Virtual 2022 runDisney Walt Disney World Marathon Events and Pricing
If you can’t make it down to Walt Disney World to run the races in person, you are in luck! All of the six Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend events will be held virtually for 2022. Pricing for each virtual event is as follows:
- Virtual – Walt Disney World 5K: January 6, 2022 – $95
- Virtual – Walt Disney World 10K: January 7, 2022 – $135
- Virtual – Walt Disney World Half Marathon: January 8, 2022 – $195
- Virtual – Walt Disney World Marathon: January 9, 2022 – $195
- Virtual – Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge: January 8 – 9, 2022 – $360
- Virtual – Dopey Challenge: January 6 – 9, 2022 – $600

Race Registration Details
Registration opens for these events as follows:
- Club runDisney Gold & Platinum Registration Opens July 20, 2021 at 10 AM EST
- General Registration for In-Person Races Opens July 27, 2021 at 10 AM EST
- General Registration for Virtual Races Opens July 30, 2021 at 10 AM EST.
