Disneyland Paris Is Open Again!
For the first time in forever, all Disney parks worldwide are open today! Disneyland Paris is open today after being shut down due to pandemic restrictions in France.
Disneyland Paris is open!
Disneyland Paris has so much to offer as it opens its doors after months of closure.
It’s time to live your dreams again as Disneyland Paris reopens this Thursday, June 17, 2021 with Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios Park, Disney’s Newport Bay Club Hotel and Disney Village.
Natacha Rafalski, president of Disneyland Paris, celebrated the reopening of the destination during a ceremony at Walt Disney Studios Park:
“We are absolutely thrilled to bring the Disney magic back to our Guests, in the most wonderful way and with enhanced health and safety measures …
As the top tourist destination in Europe, I am so proud to see Disneyland Paris play a key role in the reignition of the tourism industry. I
We believe that the need to dream and share moments of happiness with family and friends have never been so important.”
Throughout the parks you can find new Selfie Spots. At these photo locations, guests can enjoy a special moment with their favorite characters from the Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel universes.
New character experiences
Characters straight out of Alice in Wonderland are surprising guests in the Cheshire Cat Train on Main Street, U.S.A. And a float welcoming famous Disney princesses also makes surprise appearances at Disneyland Park.
At Walt Disney Studios Park, Cruella makes surprise appearances, as do Emile and Remy from Ratatouille. Additionally, the beloved characters from Frozen are back at Animation Celebration and the Marvel superheroes are ready to take selfies with guests on stage at Studio Theatre.
Once again, guests can enjoy iconic attractions in both parks at Disneyland Paris – Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. Popular attractions include:
- Star Wars: Hyperspace Mountain
- The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
- Peter Pan’s Flight
- Ratatouille: The Adventure
Debut of Cars ROAD TRIP
Today guests can experience the newest attraction at Walt Disney Studios Park: Cars ROAD TRIP. This new experience takes you right into the world of Pixar’s Cars films along the idyllic Route 66. As they travel aboard a streetcar, guests meet Lighting McQueen and Mater. Take a peek:
In just a few days the much anticipated Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel will open its doors. This stunning hotel will celebrate New York City’s culture and vibrant energy, styled as a New York art gallery.
Disney Junior Dream Factory
On July 1 Disneyland Paris will premiere the new Disney Junior Dream Factory show. This is the first show that Disneyland Paris will offer after its reopening. This immersive 20-minute show will feature some of Disney Junior’s most popular characters including Mickey, Minnie and Timon.
Enhanced health and safety measures
Following government guidance, guests at Disneyland Paris can expect:
- To wear face coverings if age six or older,
- To find nearly 2,000 Purell sanitizing stations,
- Physical distancing enforced.
Like the other parks, Disneyland Paris is operating on reduced capacity. An online reservation system is in place. Speak with your MickeyTravels agent to understand current guidelines at Disneyland Paris.
Fully vaccinated Americans (and children who are not vaccinated) are able to fly to France and do not need to quarantine upon arrival.
We at MickeyBlog are thrilled that Disneyland Paris is open once again!
