Dividers Removed, Seating Increased On Disney Busses
Things are heading back to “normal” at light speed at Walt Disney World these days! We told you about the plexiglass dividers coming down from the Monorail just this morning. Now we can confirm that they were also been removed from bus transportation.
Our source sent us some photos from a Disney park bus this morning.
You can see the barriers have been removed and capacity has definitely increased.
Multiple parties are now seated together, filling every seat, and we’re told up to 15 people can stand in the middle!
It’s exciting to see so many changes come together to make the Disney experience feel so much like it did pre-Covid! Plexiglass dividers were removed in most places this week and masks are no longer required for vaccinated guests. It is important to note that masks ARE still required on transportation. That includes busses, boats, gondolas and monorails.
As things continue to ease, we also expect a slow raise in park capacity in preparation for the busy summer months and the upcoming 50th anniversary this fall.
That includes busses, boats, gondolas and monorails. Keeping the masks allows Disney to up the capacity on transportation. In turn, that should help ease the lines that have increased due to reduced capacities of these vessels.
