New Orange Bird Sipper Spotted at World of Disney
The fan-favorite Orange Bird made a new appearance today in a sipper made for summer fun available at World of Disney at Disney Springs.
The new clear plastic tumbler features the delightful smiling Orange Bird, who continues to pop up throughout Disney parks merchandise.
Surrounding the cup are white tropical flowers in a darling variety of shapes and sizes and colorful orange citrus fruits. Vibrant lime green leaves and chartreuse dots really pop throughout the tumbler.
If you look closely at the fruits, you can even spot a Hidden Mickey in the shades of the bright orange and yellow circles.
The Orange Bird on the sipper’s reusable straw is removable for easy cleaning and durability. The lime green lid screws on and off for a secure fit.
The tumblers are the latest in a line of Orange Bird sippers and merchandise to be released since the bird made its first sipper debut at the 2019 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival.
Now, spirit jerseys, murals and even passholder magnets feature the icon. The orignal Orange Bird sipper can also be found at Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom.
The new tumbler sells for $29.99. Like most Orange Bird merch, these are sure to be super popular, so you may want to head to Disney Springs on your next visit to pick one up before they disappear.
Disney created the Orange Bird for the Florida Citrus Commission as its icon in 1970. Previously, the Florida Citrus Commission sponsored the Enchanted Tiki Room attraction at Magic Kingdom. Now, the orange bird has become a mascot at Sunshine Tree Terrace as well.
