We’re Nearing Summer But EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival Is Still In Full Bloom

Right now is a time of HUGE change at Walt Disney World. Resorts are being refurbished, social distancing protocols are being relaxed and Disney fans are counting down the days until Summer. However, let’s not forget one very important thing.

The EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is STILL in full swing! Guest can enjoy the incredible topiaries, beautiful blooms, outdoor kitchens, the butterfly house, awesome merchandise and so much more NOW through July 5th.

As you can see from the Tweet above, Good Morning America ran a snippet about some of the key highlights you’ll want to be sure to check out during this years Flower & Garden Fest! If you didn’t watch that video til the end, be sure you do because it features an appearance by Mickey himself!

If you’ve never been to a Flower and Garden Festival you don’t know what you’re missing! Its absolutely incredible to see Disney in Bloom and experience sights, sounds and flavors exclusive to this annual event. Here’s a taste of some of the fun you can enjoy during your June EPCOT visit.

Topiary Magic

A highlight of the Flower & Garden Fest is the chance to check out spectacular topiaries of Disney characters scattered throughout the parks. Disney’s team of horticulturists are hard at work all year round prepping for the festival.

Some topiaries you’ll want to be on the lookout for include Remy from Ratatouille (pictured above) Figment, Buzz Lightyear, Elsa, Belle and Beast, Lady and the Tramp and more! You can find out more about the awesome topiaries here.

Global Gardens

Visitors of all ages will enjoy weaving through dazzling flowerbeds, exotic gardens and more! My favorites are the floating gardens that adorn EPCOT’s waterways as well as the English Tea Garden at the UK Pavilion!

Outdoor Kitchens

Visitors to the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival can enjoy a mouthwatering array of awesome eats and treats at the Global Marketplaces that you’ll find throughout the park.

You’ll find an eclectic festival menu featuring incredible savory dishes, sweet treats, tasty cocktails, beers, wines and so much more. You’ll definitely want to bring your appetites to sample some of the delicious goodies the festival has to offer.

Toe-Tapping Entertainment

During your Flower & Garden Festival visit be sure to pop by the American Gardens Theatre at the American Adventure to check out some awesome entertainment. You’ll find acts from a wide range of genres including Mariachi, R&B, Pop and Disney’s very own Voices of Liberty Choir.

Family Fun

Disney has pulled out all of the stop when it comes to making Flower and Garden Fest fun for the whole family. Kids will love watching the butterflies take flight at the Butterfly House. They can also roam the World Showcase looking for clues in an exclusive Flower and Garden scavenger hunt. There’s also spacious play areas where families can kick back, relax and enjoy the Orlando sun!

EPCOT’s Next Festival

Can’t make it to Walt Disney World for this year’s Flower and Garden Festival? Don’t worry, the fun will be back next Spring. Disney has already announced the dates for this culinary celebration and it will run from July 15 to November 20,2021!
