All Traces Of Construction Gone at Polynesian Village Resort Longhouses!
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog over the last few months than you’ll know that Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has been a big construction zone.
The property has been undergoing extensive room refurbishments to all guest rooms.
The rooms have been revamped with new hard and soft furnishings and lots of touches that give them a Moana theme.
Though just last week, it was hard for us to imagine that the property would start welcoming back guests next month, after our visit today we are feeling more optimistic.
There are no longer any signs of construction at the guest longhouses.
All of the garden areas have been tidied up and greenery replanted.
As a matter of fact, this was the first time that we really felt that the Poly was returning to the beautiful monorail resort that we love!
Over at the Main Ceremonial House it is still a slightly different story.
Construction work is still being done to the main building which includes an enhanced monorail station on the second floor, new lighting fixtures and a new Port Cochere to welcome arriving guests.
This has always been such a beautiful resort that we can’t wait to see the whole property restored to its former glory (with some awesome updates of course.)
We’ll continue to update you on the progress going into June so keep following along with us for further news and updates!
