Face Mask Display Replaced at Magic Kingdom
One of the face mask displays at The Emporium in Magic Kingdom has been replaced. The move is most likely in response to the CDC’s recent relaxation on mask mandates.
For several months now, Disney face masks for purchase have been displayed near the number 1 and number 2 markers in the checkout line at The Emporium. Face masks used to be a hot commodity (remember a year ago how hard it was to find one!?) but with recent announcements from the CDC, Disney World has started to ease up on their requirements.
Today, our MickeyBlogger paid this shop a visit and noticed the display near the number 2 marker has been completely removed and replaced with 2021 merchandise (smooth move, Disney). After all, who wants to relive 2020? Let’s move on to 2021!
In case you missed it, Disney announced last week that they will no longer require masks when outdoors. However, masks are still required while waiting in line for attractions and while riding attractions. We encourage you to keep following MickeyBlog for all the latest updates on mask rules throughout the Disney Parks.
