New Eateries and Green Spaces Among Many Changes at Disneyland’s Downtown Disney
There are exciting changes coming to Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort! Disney is currently working on the latest transformation to the district with more innovating shopping, dining and entertainment experiences. This includes developing a re-imagined West End Area!
Drawing its inspiration from Southern California and mid-century modern architecture, the West End area of Downtown Disney will feature vibrant color palettes along with design elements influenced by the region. It will even include an open lawn for relaxing and holding events!
Coming Soon: Din Tai Fung
One of the new eateries will be Din Tai Fung, a world-renowned restaurant. On the menu will be soup dumplings hand crafted on site. The family one restaurant will bring flavorful Chinese cuisine to Downtown Disney. Diners will be able to enjoy dishes served family style in a creative space near the new lawn pavilion!
Coming Soon: Paseo and Centrico
We can also reveal that Chef Carlos Gaytan will be bringing his inclusive vision of Mexican cuisine to Paseo and Centrico. It will be going into the areas currently occupied by Catal & Uva Bar and will be brought to life by Patina Restaurant Group. According to Disney, the restaurant and central courtyard bar and dining area will offer guests a multi-sensory journey to the heart of Chef Carlos’ Gaytan homeland.
Changes Coming to Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen
We can also report that Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen will be going through some exciting changes which will incorporate the vibrant energy of California and will include a “fresh” approach to the menu while still holding true to bringing the heart of New Orleans to Downtown Disney.
NEW Earl of Sandwich – Walk-Up Location
Last, but certainly not least, we can report that the beloved Earl of Sandwich will soon be a fixture on the West End with a special sandwich walk-up location. Here guests will be able to find classics that you know and love for a limited time beginning later this year.
