Check Out The Construction From the Polynesian Resort’s Monorail Platform
Our MickeyBlogger was passing through the Polynesian Resort today and got some awesome images of the construction being done to the main building!
These images were action taken from inside the monorail car passing through the platform!
As you can see, construction is coming along with new beams and partitions already in place.
In the picture above you can see the roof extend over the top of the walkway the stretches from the second floor exit of the Main Ceremonial House to the monorail platform.
You can see that the second floor entrance has been closed off completely with only construction workers having access to the platform.
Here’s another look at the covered walkway from a slightly different angle.
The bulk of construction is expected to be completed this Summer which includes Moana-themed guest room renovations.
Improvements are also being made to the monorail platform, some design elements are being added to the main hall and a new port cochere will welcome arriving guests.
The roof hasn’t gone up on the actual monorail track yet.
Nor have platform railings. We’ll keep a close on developments over at the poly and promise to let you know how things are coming along!
