Disneyland Expansion Project Teases an Indiana Jones Themed Bar
Back on March 25th, the Walt Disney Company announced a new expansion plan that will define the next 20 years at the Disneyland Resort. The plan called DisneylandForward will unveil plans in retail, theme park, and parking expansion. Disneyland has teased an Indian Jones-themed bar, similar to Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. This is just 1 of the many concepts the DisneylandForward project has in mind for the expansion.
The DisneylandForward expansion plans to add new hotels, dining, shops, and guest experiences at the Disneyland Resort. Disney wants to take unused space and turning it into a hotbed for new rides and potential moneymaking ventures.
Since being closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Disneyland officials have really had the chance to step back and evaluate the current state and future of Disneyland. With all o the land that exists unused, they want to start taking advantage of its potential.
The city of Anaheim has heard nothing but negative comments from residents around the area, so it is taking some hand-holding and lots of time to convince the Anaheim City Council.
The Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar in Disney Springs is a family-friendly waterfront outpost that is a prime destination for explorers seeking casual fare with a daring flair and rare cocktail concoctions—surrounded by vintage aviation ambience inspired by the high-flying exploits of Indiana Jones’ intrepid pilot.
