Skywalker Legacy Lightsaber Set Already Sold Out on shopDisney
Fans of a galaxy far far away can now own one of the coolest Star Wars items to ever hit shopDisney; that being the Skywalker Legacy Lightsaber Set!
As part of all of the May the Fourth celebrations, Disney has released the incredible set that includes detailed recreations of two of the galaxy’s coolest weapons.
Unfortunately, the limited to 3,000 unit set has already sold out on Disney’s home for online shopping!
The set is quire unlike anything that has come before, and features two incredibly well-crafted lightsabre hilts; from two of the sagas most vital characters.
The first saber included is the reforged Skylwaker legacy hilt; which is a recreation of the weapon of choice for several of the sagas greatest heroes.
A beautifully designed and executed piece, the hilt replicates the lightsaber first used by Anakin Skywalker. The blade was then passed down to his son, Luke, before eventually landing in the hands of Rey in the Disney trilogy.
The Saber is reforged by Rey following its destruction at the of The Last Jedi film. Fans will notice the middle section of the hilt features accent parts that replicate these reforged aspects.
The other hilt included in the set is the long-anticipated saber of one Leia Organa.
Although fans were never given a close-up view of the hilt, this saber shows us exactly the weapon that Leia herself used during her Jedi training.
The saber was used by Rey at the end of the Rise of Skywalker film. The young Jedi wielded the weapon to end the reign of Emporer Palpatine, fighting alongside BEn solo.
What may be even cooler than the two hilts, is the case that carries the legacy sabers!
The hilts are stored in cloth similar to the one Rey wrapped the Skywalker blades in when she buried them on Tatooine at the conclusion of Rise of Skywalker.
The wrapped items are then placed inside of a beautiful custom-made case.
The case displayed the logo of the rebellion on the front, with different writings from Star Wars languages riddled throughout.
When the case is opened, it actually plays the John Williams composed Force Theme!
The hilts do have sound and lighting capabilities. Fans can attach appropriate blades to activate these features; with the blades being sold separately.
The beautiful legacy lightsaber set has already sold out of all 3,000 units; proving to be one of the must-have items of 2021’s May the Fourth.
Check back on shopDisney for plenty of other lightsaber options!
