The Falcon and The Winter Soldier: New Poster & Featurette
Did you see the first episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier? Yep, me too.
The show started just like an extension of one of the Captain America films, with breakneck action, a major set-piece, and a transition to soldiers off the battlefield. It was this off-the-battlefield portion of the program, which was the best part of the premiere on Friday. Honestly, some of the exposition was heartbreaking.
And, just like we have five more episodes, there’s plenty of content coming to promote the show, as well.

And, finally, a new featurette explores the relationship between Bucky and Sam:

For Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes, their plan might be no plan—but it’s the teamwork that makes this partnership really tick.
Meanwhile, reviews are not yet all in, but an early note from Daniel D’Addario was hopeful in regard to its first episode:

The promise of the Marvel television shows — first “WandaVision” and now “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” — is that they will do something fundamentally different, stylistically and substantively, from what the Marvel colossus has done before. “WandaVision,” at least in its early going, played compellingly with genre while telling a story about grief. And “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” in its first episode, telegraphs an ambition to do something similar. It is harder-edged than previous Marvel outings, and it, too, looks at the aftermath of the very bad things superheroes must endure.
With that in mind, I will add that the story of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was a bit more straightforward than was WandaVision. And, in my estimation, that fact might make The Falcon and The Winter Soldier an even bigger hit for Disney+.
It’s streaming right now, so tell us what you think of the new show! The comments are below.
