All-New ‘Moana’ Rooms at Disney’s Polynesian Resort Now Available for Booking
In 2020, Walt Disney World announced that Disney’s Polynesian Resort would be receiving magical enhancements that would include a new Monorail Station in addition to new room designs that were inspired by the hit Disney movie, Moana. Just last week, Disney released our first look at these rooms and the only word to describe them is breathtaking! Today, we know when those new Moana rooms at the Polynesian will begin to welcome their first reservations.

Once complete, the rooms will feature new colors “inspired by the Pacific Ocean and its many islands, including details, patterns and textures from the hit Walt Disney Animation Studios film Moana. They will offer new furnishings and fixtures and the bathrooms will remind Guests of the sandy ocean floor.
Per the official Walt Disney World website, reservations for Moana rooms will be available as of July 19, 2021! For the night of July 19, 2021, there are rooms available in the following categories: Standard View, Lagoon View, Theme Park View, and Ambassador Vice Presidential Suite.

Currently, the price for the Standard Room on the night of July 19, 2021 for two adults and two children is $595.00 plus tax. There is not a room discount currently available for the Moana rooms at this time. However, if you booked a minimum of a four night stay around this time with a minimum of three day tickets, you would receive two days of tickets free for select room categories.
Reservations for the much-anticipated Moana rooms at the Polynesian are most likely to fill up fast. With Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebrations kicking off on October 1, 2021, and high demand for resort rooms on the Monorail during the celebrations, it’s likely these rooms will be few and far between this Fall and beyond.
