Big Al’s In Frontierland Gets A New Sign
As you’re walking through Frontierland, it may be easy to miss the small kiosk known as Big Al’s. Taking its name from the beloved, though slightly morose and definitely a little bit morbid member of the Country Bear Jamboree, this outdoor souvenir shop has gotten a BIG makeover.
As you can see Big Al’s now has a brand new sign featuring none other than the guitar playing bear himself.
As we were strolling through the Magic Kingdom, it definitely put a smile on our faces!
The Big Al’s sign can now be seen from all angles as you make your way through this area of the park.
The shop with shuttered during our visit but for those wondering what what goods you’ll find here its mainly Frontierland-inspired knick-knacks including coonskin caps, plushies and toys!
A don’t miss your chance to see Big Al in person at the Country Bear Jamboree currently open daily at the Magic Kingdom.
This animatronic show has pride of place in the hearts of many Disney fans as it is one of the very last attractions that Walt Disney personally worked on.
The show was originally planned for a Disney Ski Resort in California that never ended up being built. The Bears were moved to Disney in 1971 and the rest is Magic Kingdom history!
