Best Frozen Slushies at Walt Disney World
The weather is getting warmer and the winter slush is melting. Temperatures are reaching the 80’s on most days in Orlando, and guests are beginning to look for some frozen beverages to cool down on these spring days. Here is a quick guide to some of the best frozen drinks on Disney property.
#5: Frozen Lemonade
It doesn’t get any more classic and refreshing than a frozen lemonade at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Frozen lemonades can be found in several places in the park. Minute Maid frozen lemonades are sometime available on carts around the park. These portable versions are around $4.99 and perfect for kids.
Westward Ho is famous for their frozen lemonade slushy. The quick service restaurant in Frontierland also sells delicious corn dog nuggets and Mickey pretzels to pair with the $4.99 slushy.
#4: Night Blossom
The sweet and sour Night Blossom can be found at Pongu Pongu in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Pongu is located in Pandora right as guests exit the popular ride, Flight of Passage. FOP usually has a pretty lengthy wait time, so you may need some refreshment after this exciting experience.
The frozen layered drink is a mixture of limeade, apple and pear with passion fruit Boba balls on the top. It’s a pretty good serving for $5.99 or you can add rum for $10.25.
#3: Blue Milk
The Blue Milk frozen drink can be found at the Milk stand in Galaxy’s Edge. This Star Wars beverage has, in many opinions, improved since it was first introduced. The concoction is more slushy and less milky now, but it still maintains its sweet taste.
Although the milk is sweet to the taste, it is not really fruity so for some, this $7.99 frozen drink is worth it due to it’s uniqueness. It’s cool and frozen, but not a sugary fruit explosion. And, who can visit Galaxy’s Edge, the fully immersive Star Wars Land and not partake.
#2: FROSE at Wine Bar George
Wine Bar George is one of the most popular locations at Disney Springs. Although, named after its famous Master Sommelier, the restaurant also has delicious food and frozen drinks. It’s Frose, at $13 is the perfect pairing to any appetizer on a warm night.
The Frose comes in Rose, Vodka or Strawberry variations. There is also a Dole Whip Pineapple and a Dole Whip Lime version. Any of the frozen drinks are complimentary if you buy a Wine Bar George Corkcicle.
#1: Limited Time Honey-Peach Freeze
The 2021 Flower and Garden Festival kicked off this week with a multitude of incredible food booths. One of them, The Honey Bee-stro, has our favorite Honey Peach Freeze.
The freeze comes in both a non-alcoholic version and a alcoholic one mixed with Blueberry Vodka. Guests can also choose to have their Honey-peach freeze served in a Spike the Bee Sipper Cup ($15.00).
And don’t worry, EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival runs all the way through July 5th, so there is plenty of time to enjoy all of the food booth offerings. And, for a summer visit the Honey-Peach Freeze will be a welcome, frozen relief on that hot Florida day.
