The Five Best Margaritas at Walt Disney World
It’s National Margarita Day and MickeyBlog is back with our version of the Five Best Margaritas at Walt Disney World. Last year we provided our readers with a list, but this year there have been some changes, some old standards and some brand new margaritas to share.
#5 The Sunset Margarita
Dockside Margaritas at Disney Springs has several yummy margaritas on their menu. The little restaurant mimics a 1960’s Florida Produce Stand. Margaritas are around $16 each and our favorite is the Sunset Margarita.
Sunset has Don Julio Reposado Tequila, Cointrea, Lime Juice, Sweet and Sour and Orange Juice. This refreshing margarita is perfect for a hot day at Disney Springs and a fun shopping trip.
The Sunset Margarita not your choice? That’s ok, Dockside has plenty to choose from.
#4 The Outer Rim
The Outer Rim can be found in Galaxy’s Edge at Oga’s Cantina. Oga’s is a fully immersive Cantina style restaurant located in the Star Wars section of Hollywood Studios. Their margarita contains Silver tequila, acai liqueur, lime juice, pure cane sugar, black salt and exotic fruit purée. Don’t drink too many of these and try to fly the Millennium Falcon.
#3 The Marvelous Watermelon Margarita
Boardwalk Joe’s is still closed due to COVID protocols, but we are hoping this stand will reopen in time for the summer. It is located on the Boardwalk near EPCOT and offers some of the most refreshing fruit-filled margaritas on property.
Their Watermelon Margarita contains Patrón Silver Tequila, Watermelon, Lime Juice and Sweet-and-Sour. YUM!
#2 Mo’ara Margarita
Next time you are in Animal Kingdom’s head over to Pandora and ride Flight of Passage. When you exit the ride take a left and stop by Pongu Pongu. The small counter-service area offers the non-alcoholic “Night Blossom” as well as a delicious margarita.
The Mo’ara Margarita is comprised of Sauza Conmemorativo Añejo Tequila and Blue Curaçao with Lime Juice topped with Passion Fruit Boba Balls. It is as pretty as it it tasty.
#1 Anything at La Cava del Tequila
“Imbibe “the essence of Mexico” with over 200 tequilas, top-shelf cocktails, Mexican beer and wine. Take off with a tequila flight or a wild passion fruit margarita.” The essence of Mexico can be found inside the Mexican Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase.
Guests can partake of classic margaritas made with top quality ingredients. “The Wild One” has Teremana blanco tequila, mango-passion fruit purée, Ancho Verde chile liqueur, lime juice, applejack and ginger cordial, black ant salt rim. Click here for the full menu.
What is your favorite margarita on Walt Disney World Property? Please tell us, we may need to try one…just for research purposes of course.
