Disney No Longer Adding Digital face Coverings To Guests Photos
Last week, we learned that Disney was testing digital face coverings being added onto Guests that either had taken their face coverings off or they may have fallen off during the attraction. This testing was happening at Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom.
The first digital face mask photos were first rolled out on Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom and then on DINOSAUR at Animal Kingdom.
But, Disney has since released a statement stating they will no longer be modifying guests photos with digital facemasks. See the statement below.
In response to guest requests, we tested modifying some ride photos. We are no longer doing this and continue to expect guests to wear face coverings except when actively eating or drinking while stationary.
As always, it is encouraged that Guests continue to follow the rules and wear proper face coverings the correct way, unless stationary while eating and drinking.
