Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, Season 2
Disney Gallery returns for the second season of The Mandalorian…
Firstly, how about this for an extra Christmas gift for Star Wars fans?
It says here that Disney Gallery: Star Wars: The Mandalorian will return for its second season on December 25.
Thank you very much Disney Australia!
Good News From Down Under – Disney Gallery
The second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian comes to an end on Friday, December 18th and fans won’t have to wait too long for a little more Mandalorian content as Disney Australia has announced [link live, but the info is gone] that the popular behind the scenes series, “Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian” will be returning for a second season on December 25th.
Obviously, someone in the Southern Hemisphere jumped the gun, but hey – I ain’t hatin’.
And here is a really good point from the folks on WhatsOnDisneyPlus:
No other details have yet been revealed on the second season, such as who will be involved in the roundtable discussions and how many episodes there will be. Depending on when this series was filmed, it might look different to the first if it was made after the Coronavirus forced productions to shut down.
Consequently, that could be VERY interesting television.
Looking Back: Season 1
Finally, last year’s description explained:
DISNEY GALLERY: THE MANDALORIAN is an eight-episode documentary series that pulls back the curtain on The Mandalorian. Each chapter explores a different facet of the first live-action Star Wars television show through interviews, behind the scenes footage, and roundtable conversations hosted by Jon Favreau… Topics this season include the filmmaking process, the legacy of George Lucas’ Star Wars, how the cast brought the characters to life, the series’ groundbreaking technology, the artistry behind the show’s practical models, effects, and creatures, plus the creative influences, the iconic score, and connections to Star Wars characters and props from across the galaxy.
