BREAKING NEWS: Ohana Bread Pudding is BACK at the Polynesian!
Sure, gathering around the table and enjoying an ‘all you care to eat’ meal at Ohana is something I’ve missed since March. We all have. But the real hole in my heart truly stemmed from the striking lack of the (famously delicious) Ohana bread pudding!
Avid Ohana goers and seasoned Tambu Lounge aficionados knew their haunts to be the only two spots on Disney Property where the scrumptious decadence was sold…until the pandemic shut down the bread pudding operation in its entirety back March.
Bread Pudding is Back!
The rumors are true! The famous bread pudding is BACK at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! Don’t go searching at Ohana or Tambu Lounge for the bread pudding though, because the bread pudding has a brand-new location to call home!
Kona Cafe is serving up the famed bread pudding at their lunch and dinner seatings. Don’t worry, the bread pudding at Kona is made using the exact recipe that has been used over at Ohana for decades, so you can expect the same glorious dessert that you’ve enjoyed on vacations past!
The richly dense bread pudding is still topped with a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream and comes to the table with a side of warm caramel and banana sauce for dipping!
Next time you visit Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, will you be making a dinner reservation at Kona Cafe to secure your bread pudding? Leave me a comment and let me know!
