BREAKING NEWS! Get A First Look At Magic Kingdom’s Holiday Cavalcade!
Christmas has officially arrived at Walt Disney World! MickeyBlog is on hand at the Magic Kingdom this morning where the characters are out, the decorations are up and it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
We just managed to catch one of the awesome seasonal character cavalcades which will be making the rounds at the Magic Kingdom through until the end of December and are excited to pass on a first look of the holiday magic!
Mary Poppins flew straight over from London to celebrate the season! We love her beautiful red scarf!
And as an extra special treat here’s Bert, enjoying the Orlando sunshine!
Winnie the Pooh made a trip from Hundred Acre Wood to ring in the season and even wore his special red, white and green striped scarf!
Things got a little bit “mad” when the Hatter showed up to wish everyone a Happy Holidays!
We want to know where we can get the Mad Hatters bright green scarf complete with a Mary Blair-inspired pattern!
And there’s Mickey!
Mickey and Minnie had their own float where they sat amongst presents and in front of a towering tree.
Minnie seemed absolutely delighted to be officially welcoming the holiday season at Disney.
As you can see, the crowds lined Main Street USA to catch a first glimpse of their favorite Disney characters dressed in their holiday finery!
Pinocchio had no strings to hold him down and was looking fantastic in his vibrant green scarf.
He was also joined by Gepetto who wore a matching red scarf!
Mickey Mouse definitely knew how to get the crowds on their feet and celebrating!
We absolutely love his holiday look complete with cream trousers, a red and white vest and black bowtie!
Cast member costumes have also been given a bit of a holiday update! The outfits feature peppermint stripes and a Christmas tree print!
It wouldn’t be a celebration without Tigger!
He coordinated perfectly with his best pal Winnie when it came to the matching scarves!
The cavalcade makes its way up Main Street USA as well as through the HUB where we captured these awesome images of Mickey in front of Cinderella Castle!
Though the holidays will be a bit more subdued at Disney World this year, it sure didn’t feel like it during this incredible seasonal procession!
Guests visiting the park in the lead-in to Christmas should be on the lookout for the cavalcade.
Replacing the seasonal meet and greets, this mini parades happen spontaneously at various times throughout the day.

They provide a great way to see and interact with some of your favorite Disney pals – from a distance of course!
There tends to be several different variations on the cavalcades with each featuring different characters!
We were lucky enough to catch a lot of the classic characters in this morning procession.
However, no princesses or villains!
But we did get Peter Pan singing us a holiday tune!
And Daisy looking possibly delightful in green velvet!
Pluto had a special holiday colar made of red, green and gold!
And you can see Donald just behind him in his red velvet hat and plaid jacket!
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog where we’ll be coming to you live from Magic Kingdom all day. You can expect other cavalcades including one featuring Goofy atop a delicious float and let’s not forget SANTA who we are told flew in from the North Pole just for the occasion!
