VIDEO: Carol Danvers/Brie Larson’s Many Looks
If there is one “new” character that REALLY intrigues me, in terms of their future role, it’s Carol Danvers, a.k.a. Captain Marvel, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

In Captain Marvel, Brie Larson — who earned an Academy, SAG, and BAFTA awards for her work in the film Room — brought acting AND star power to the role of Captain Marvel in her eponymous film and Avengers: Endgame.
My first exposure to Brie Larson was in the movie Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
In that film, Larson played Envy Adams, a supervillain/rock star. Therein she stole the show, showing off her pop-star sensibilities and her voice.

“Oh yeah. Oh, yeah – Oh, yeah!”
Check out Brie Larson as “Envy,” below:
What a fantastic movie, by the way. Definitely check it out (PG-13, for sure). None other than Chris Evans joins the cast of that manga movie, too. As does Superman (the best Superman IMHO), Brandon Routh. Fantastic.

Chris Evans as “Lucas Lee” in Scott Pilgrim…
So, anyway, we’ve seen one crazy look for Brie Larson, so let’s get back to Captain Marvel.
And, it occurs to me that some of you may not be familiar with Captain Marvel.

So, let’s explore Marvel’s history of Carol Danvers.
Captain Marvel | Marvel 101
After an alien device mutated her DNA, Danvers transformed from a merely brilliant pilot into one of the most powerful Super Heroes in the universe. Now soaring among the stars, Carol Danvers is known as Captain Marvel.
So, now we’ve seen that Ms. Danvers goes through many transformations throughout her comic life.
Now, let’s see how the MCU delivered on that fantastic fashion.

See Captain Marvel’s looks shine from the comics to the big screen!
And of course, Ms. Larson has talked — very openly — about wanting to someday shed her Marvel gear and wear something from the Star Wars galaxy.
The star makes no bones about wanting to someday pick up a lightsaber.
Back in 2019, People.com posted:
Brie Larson is strong with the Force!
The Captain Marvel star, 29, visited Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on Wednesday night and is now sharing all of her fun fandom moments on Instagram.
“Serving Jedi realness this summer,” she wrote in the caption of a photo on Thursday in which she posed as a Jedi similar to Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn.
In a second photo, the Oscar-winning actress held a blue lightsaber while locked in a heated battle with a friend who held a red one.
“The force is strong ya’ll!! #starwarsgalaxysedge,” she wrote.
Now, what will the future bring for Brie Larson and Carol Danvers? Stay tuned, True Believers….
