Walt Disney World Gradually Continues to Add Park Hours
I have some great news to pass along if you have plans to be at Walt Disney World this weekend. In a trend we have been seeing gradually occur, Walt Disney World has extended park hours from September 25 to September 27, 2020.
Magic Kingdom Park Hours
This weekend, the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will now be open from 9 am to 7 pm. Previously, the Park was scheduled to be open from 9 am to 6 pm so that means one extra hour of magic! It also means you will be able to enjoy some of the lights of the Park as it will be dusk when the Park begins to close.
On Monday, September 28, the Park hours will return to 9 am to 6 pm for the upcoming week.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park Hours
On September 25 until September 27, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will begin welcoming Guests at 8 am, an hour earlier than previously scheduled. The Park will close at 5 pm with the exception of Friday, September 25 when it will actually close at 6 pm. That means the Walt Disney World Park will be open two extra hours on Friday, September 25 and one extra hour on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Since Walt Disney World reopened, Disney’s Hollywood Studios seems to be the most popular Park Guests are wanting to visit – at least in terms of Disney Park Pass theme park reservations. To keep on up the demand, Walt Disney World has added an extra hour of magic for Guests to have more time to enjoy Toy Story Land, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. The hours for September 25 to September 27 are now 10 am to 8 pm.
EPCOT Park Hours
Guests planning to visit EPCOT this weekend are going to get not one, but two extra hours of magic! Walt Disney World has adjusted the park hours to close two hours later than normal making the new hours for the three days 11 am to 9 pm.
It’s important to note that these park hours are about exactly the same when the Walt Disney World Theme Parks reopened back in July of this year.
Let’s hope the increasing Walt Disney World Park Hours are a trend that continues. Over the weekend, Walt Disney World added and adjusted park hours at the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT for November and until December 5 – just in time for the holiday season!
