New MagicBands Make Their Debut on My Disney Experience

So when it comes to MagicBands, we here at MickeyBlog have good news and bad news! Let’s start with the bad. As we revealed earlier in the week, Disney will be doing way with complimentary MagicBands going into 2021 with more functionality being added to the My Disney Experience app. 

The good news is magic band loyalists won’t have to give up this nifty bit of tech. Though Disney will no longer be providing them to guests starting next year, visitors still have the ability to prepurchase bands using the My Disney Experience website. The icing on the cake is that Disney has even added a few new MagicBand designs. 

Let’s take a look: 

First up is this adorable RunDisney band perfect for all of those thinking about for participating in a future race at the theme parks. It features an image of MickeyMouse all suited up for the big race and has a pre-purchase price of $20.00. 

Next up, this 2020 Family Vacation MagicBand is the perfect souvenir for those visiting the theme parks this year. It features a vibrant image of Mickey and Minnie welcoming you to the parks! 

You’ve heard this phrase uttered by your favorite SuperBowl hero and now you can accessorize with this bright red MagicBand sporting the words, “I’m going to Walt Disney World.” Its also adorned in the confetti and ticker-tape reminiscent of our favorite Disney parades. 

Did someone say “Snacks!?” If like us, one of your favorite things about a Disney visit is sampling the incredible eats and treats than this is the MagicBand for you. Dole Whips, Sorcerer Mickey Candy Apple and more are well represented on this colorful accessory!

First visit to Walt Disney World? You can commemorate the occasion with this bright yellow MagicBand featuring Mickey ready to celebrate with you! 

For those celebrating a wedding, anniversary or Disney romance you can show your love for Disney and each other pick up a pair of these MagicBands. They feature a silver and gold ring designs. We love the light blue designs complete with celebratory fireworks in the background!
