BREAKING NEWS: Disney Cruise Line Suspends Sailings Through September 15, 2020

We’ve got some very important news for those planning on setting sail with Disney Cruise Line in 2020.  Disney just announced that in accordance with an announcement made today by Cruise Lines International Association regarding the extension of suspended passenger operations from U.S. ports, Disney Cruise Line will be cancelling Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy sailings through September 15, 2020. 

The news comes in addition to already suspended sailings on the Disney Wonder (thru September 14, 2020) and Disney Magic (October 2, 2020.)  This brings the number of sailings cancelled to nearly 70+.

I’m On One Of the Newly Cancelled Sailings What Should I Do? 

Disney Cruise line is advising that those on affected sailings that have already paid your reservation in full will have the choice of taking a cruise credit of 125% for a future sailing taking place before March 31, 2022 or request a full refund.  The credit will be automatically applied to your account on June 22, 2020. Once you’ve picked an alternate sale date you can contact your travel agent or if you booked directly with Disney reach out directly to them to have the credit applied to your booking. 

Guests who have yet to pay off the balance of your cruise will automatically receive a full refund for what you have paid in so far.  Guests and travel agents will receive an email from Disney Cruise Line that will outline next steps. 

If you booked your reservation through a travel agent it is recommended that you reach out to them directly. For cruises booked directly with Disney you can reach them at 1.866.325.6685.
