Did You Know The ‘Thanos Snap’ Easter Egg Is Still Up On Google?
And with a snap of the fingers…Poof! If you’ve watched Avengers: Infinity War you know that pretty much sums it all up! And though the film may not be as much in our minds as it was last Summer, Google has left a fun Easter Egg in their search engine that is sure to bring a smile to your face!
As ScreenRant points out in a post this morning, Google will often include Easter Eggs in its system. Though most get taken down after a certain date, some continue to tick along for those lucky enough to find them.
So how can you find this awesome Easter Egg? Let’s take a look:
As you can see, when you type Thanos into Google Search, the knowledge panel opens up to the left. You’ll see a small image of the gold Infinity gauntlet. – That’s what you want to click on to activate the Thanos Easter Egg!
Once clicked on it launches some awesome sound effects and then half of all the search results start to disappears. This continues for a few seconds before it eventually returns to normal. Pretty simple really but it does make us pretty darn happy!.
Not all of these are Disney related but here are a few of my other favorites worth checking out:
- Wizard of Oz (Similar to Thanos, click on the Ruby Slippers)
- Phoebe Buffet (Click on the guitar in the knowledge box for a pretty awesome rendition of ‘Smelly Cat’
