Collectors Take Note: Some Awesome Disney Items Are Coming Up For Online Auction This Weekend
Get prepared to raise those paddles (In a virtual sense), NBC Los Angeles just shared the news that Van Eaton Galleries will be holding an online auction on Saturday, May 9th which will include a model of the Nautilus, Haunted Mansion prints, cast member uniforms and more.
With a name like “Popular Culture & Disneyland”, you know that you’re sure to find some treasures and according to the website for the auction house there will be over 800 items hitting the auction block on Saturday.
The auction will take place starting at 10am PST. You can find out more information about logging in by visiting the galleries official website here. Among the items listed here are some Disney related highlights.

Love the Haunted Mansion? We sure do and we’re being told there are some special items for fans of the grim grinning ghosts that includes cels and drawings and more!
Here are a few noteworthy items to give you a taste of what you’ll find on auction day!
Disneyland Haunted Mansion Maquettes –
This original pair of maquettes were actually used to create “Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. They featuring the duelling ghosts from the ballroom scene. Each maquette measures approximately 10” tall and the pair are in fair to good condition with a few missing pieces and some wear from age. Minor restoration has been done to the legs of one of the maquettes to aid in its presentation.

Alice in Wonderland Production Cel
Add bit of wonderland magic with this cel from the original Walt Disney Studios Alice in Wonderland. It features Alice and represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the movie.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Production Drawing
Here is an original production drawing from the Walt Disney Studios production Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937). This original drawing features the Evil Queen in the form of the Old Hag, looking into her spellbook. It was created at the studio and used during production. The overall measurements of the piece are 9.75″ x 12.5″ and the image itself measures 8″ x 8.5″. The drawing is in very good condition with the top edge of the sheet trimmed away, and also includes a new peg hole strip that had been glued to the bottom edge at the studio in order to reanimate the scene.

Disneyland Railroad Main Street Station Sign
This item already sold at pre-auction for a cool $12,000.00 and is an original sign for the Main Street Station of the railroad and has a post which sticks down from the center of the bottom of the sign. This sign originally was positioned amidst plants, so the post was a metal pole protruding from the bottom of the sign. This sign will have a custom metal base created for it to stand upright. The sign is in good condition with expected wear from use including paint scuffing to the edges, but is still operational with the turnstile type wait time.
